I’m Brad Petrie. I grew up in a small town in southern Ohio called Vinton. I graduated from River Valley High School in 1998 and graduated from Bluffton University in 2002 with a degree in Education.  After graduating from college, I married my amazing wife Erica and we moved back to her hometown of Van Wert, Ohio.  Since then, we have had 4 great kids, Brady, Brooks, Evie and Brant!  We love our family!  

Since 2005 I have worked in Youth Ministry in the Van Wert area.  From 2010 to 2015 I was the Youth Pastor here at Calvary.  But in 2015, I felt led to join West Central Ohio Youth for Christ in Van Wert.  After 8 years with YFC, 6 of which as the Executive Director, God called me back to ministry at Calvary!  In November of 2023, I started my second journey as the Youth Pastor of Calvary Evangelical Church.

I love Calvary.  Calvary is my church home!  I feel blessed that I get to worship here with so many of my family and friends.  And I am truly grateful to be able to point the high school and middle school students of our church and of this community to Jesus.
